Plebe Training 2008

CBA kicked off the year strong with Freshmen Plebe Training on September 3rd and 4th. Cadets came in Wednesday morning, registered, and were organized into companies and batallions. From there, the C.B.A. senior officers took over the training of individual drill, platoon drill, and general orientation. The training was filled with competition, ranging from knock out for individual drill to physically competing against one another in the Cadet Challenge. The final day was highlighted by the Best Drilled Freshmen Competition. All the incoming freshmen competed against one another to prove who knew the drilling movements the best. The competition came down to Jackson Raimo and Nick Gentile for the final two. Raimo pulled away and eventually won the title. The last and final event for Plebe Training took place Friday night before the C.B.A. Football game. The Freshmen were marched onto the field in front of their parents and awards for the week were given out. This lasting tradition of C.B.A. lives on and signals the beginning of the school year.
